Margaret Louis Barrett (nee Taylor)

July 18, 1935 - May 17, 2019
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom. Mom passed away peacefully, at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving children: Ron, Don, Kim, Steve, six beloved grandchildren, one great grandson and her brothers Maurice and George.
She was predeceased by her husbands Ron Barrett & Bob Wingfield, parents Fred & Edna Taylor and older sister Dorothy Hunt.
Marg was born in Sask. and lived in Surrey most all her life. Her and Bob opened Scott Antiques in the early 70's. The business continued as Scott's Craft & Wicker until retiring in 2000. Mom loved Christmas. Her and Bob had a huge light display at their home in Surrey 1988-97. Donations were collected for the VGH Burn Unit. That legacy lives on at Bright Nights in Stanley Park. She will be dearly missed by us all.
A celebration of life will be held Sat. July 20th noon-2:30 pm at St. Cuthbert Church 11601-82nd Ave, Delta (Pioneer Hall entry off 82nd Ave).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VGH Burn Unit.
