SOMMER, Maria. (nee Anderl). Born January 8, 1920 in Mank Austria, passed away peacefully in her sleep July 12, 2014. She was the eldest of her siblings, and outlived Hans, Rosl and Gretl. She leaves behind her son Werner (Antoinette), grandchildren Amy, Greg and daughter Susan (Frank) and beloved grandchildren Mike (Lindsay), Bryan (Justyna) and Katie (Tim).
After losing the love of her life, she moved to White Rock to spend the last 30 years surrounded by family. She now joins her late husband John to be together forever buried beside him in Toronto. She is survived by a loving family who misses her dearly every day. But we know she is now at peace and in a better place. Her kindness, love,
compassion and schnitzel will be forever missed.
