August 23, 1932 - February 24, 2019
Marilyn Josephine Bryan (O'Connor), passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Vernon, BC at the age of 86 years. Lynn was born on August 23, 1932 in Sussex NB. After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy in St. John, NB, she joined the RCAF, and lived in Greenwood NS where she met and married Verne Leroy Jarvis. She moved to Ottawa and worked for the Le Dain Commission of Inquiry into the Non-Medical Use of Drugs and later moved to the West Coast and settled in Richmond, BC. where Lynn worked for the Canadian Cancer Society. She retired to White Rock, B.C.
Lynn was predeceased by her precious daughter Wendy Anne and her former husband and long-time friend Mike Bryan. She is survived by her children Janice (Hideki) Kondoh, Kathleen Obad, Susan (Ted) Croft, Daniel (Jeanie) Jarvis, her grandchildren, Corey, Christina, Kaelen, Cole, Spencer, Mark, Marni, Maya, Luke, Mari and Hannah, her foster children, siblings, cousins and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held later this year.
