LAMB, Marjory Isabel. Jan. 8, 1917 - Oct. 21, 2012. It is with sadness that we announced the passing of Isabel in the evening of October 21st at Peace Portal Lodge in South Surrey, BC. Predeceased by her husband Charles and her son Terry, Isabel is survived by her son Russ (Heather), daughter Noreen, grandchildren Shawna (Greg), Shane (Jen), Carla and Charles & great-grandchildren Dario, Kadence and Hudson.

Isabel was born in the Cornwallis Municipality of Western Manitoba and was raised on a farm east of Brandon Hills. She attended Normal School in Brandon where she obtained her teacher's certificate. On graduation, Isabel taught at Maine, MB then Bradwardine, MB where she met her husband Charles. Isabel and Charles farmed in the Tarbolton area of western Manitoba where they raised their three children. After the children left the farm to establish their own careers, Isabel and Charles sold their livestock but continued farming while spending each winter in Mesa, Arizona plus taking several summer trips to Europe.

After retiring from farming, Isabel and Charles moved to Kenton, MB and finally to an apartment in the White Rock area of BC. After Charles passed away in 2002, Isabel moved to Sunnyside Manor and then, in September 2011, to Peace Portal Lodge in South Surrey. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Sunnyside and to the exemplary staff at Peace Portal who made her final years so comfortable! It is expected that a memorial gathering will be held at Tarbolton Church on June 30th, 2013.
