January 10, 1934 - August 18, 2023
Mom was born in Belgium but was raised in Slovakia where her parents were from. She immigrated to Canada in 1970, worked at UoC as a cartographer for over 20 years until her retirement.
Her and dad retired to White Rock in 1996 to be closer to their children. She continued passionately with her artwork until her death and loved being in her many gardens that were filled with abounded of flowers that she loved to paint.
She leaves behind her daughter Dana from Victoria BC, daughter-in-law Lucia of Surrey and a granddaughter Dominika of Surrey BC.
Predeceased by her loving husband Albert (2018), of over 60 years and her son Igor (2023), who sadly passed away a month before her.
She will be greatly missed by her family.
