April 14, 1951 - May 5, 2019
My greatest loss; my wife Martine died on May 5 and it is with great despair that I share this with you.
She was predeceased by her brother and parents. Martine was a lovely woman and will be fondly remembered by her loving husband of 35 years Rob and their daughter Kasandra from Maine. She studied in Alberta at the Grant MacEwan University and received her degree in Early Childcare Education. When she came to British Columbia, Martine opened her own licensed daycare which she ran for 21 years. Martine will be most remembered for her extraordinary way of dealing with children.
We worked together at my store until 2007 and then it was closed. On October 3, 2014 Martine was rushed to the hospital; we sold the house and moved to South Surrey where she died on May 5 at 4:10 am. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Martine would be appreciated.
All my love, until we meet again.
