BLEASBY; Mary Christine (nee Meegan)
November 22, 1922 - May 10, 2016
Born in Yorkshire, England into a loving family of seven brothers and sisters, of which mum was the last survivor. At age 14 she went into tailoring at "Burton's" doing hand sewing on men's suits and overcoats. During the war she was a "clippie" on the trams, a job she loved and had great tales about! After that mum stayed home and raised four children.
It was 1965 when she came to Canada (but her heart stayed in England). Mum was an avid reader, a lovely singer, and great at doing word searches in her later years. She was thrilled to meet her greatgrandson Colton, born eight weeks ago. She will be missed by family and friends on both sides of the ocean.
