Mary Viola "Vi" Cranston. Passed peacefully away Jan 2 2006 aged 96. Predeceased by husband "Jack" 1998. Lovingly remembered by son Glenn (Marge) and daughter Claire Delaney (Kevin). Born October 28, 1909, Eugenia ON. Moved to Cypress River, MB as a child, worked as Telephone Operator Winnipeg, La Riviere & Cypress River.
Married butcher Jack Cranston in 1936. Moved to Vancouver 1945 and Pt Coquitlam 1946 where they resided for 44 years. In 1990 they moved to S. Surrey. Her main passion in life was caring for her beloved children & husband and always lending a hand to others. The family wish to express their appreciation to the caring staff at Cobden Unit Morgan Place Care Facility where she resided for the past 4 1/2 years. A private family service was held January 5, 2006 at Victory Cemetery Surrey BC.
