Mary passed away in the morning of June 1, 2018 at Evergreen Baptist Campus of Care in White Rock.
She was predeceased by her husband Archie and sister Anne. Mary is survived by her four sons Ron (Evelyn), Trevor (Jacquie), Archie (Gail), Ian (Esther) six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister Lea Thiessen.
Mary led a full life centered around family, friends and work. She lived the majority of her 95 years in Burnaby where, together with family, friends and coworkers she created many memories. She was a long time employee of Sears and work was an important part of her life.
She was blessed with a wonderful smile and a great sense of humour and she will be missed by all. The family is comforted knowing mom and dad now rest peacefully together.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre - 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC at 2 pm.
Donations to Evergreen Baptist Care Home or Alzheimer Society of B.C. in her memory would be appreciated.
