Mary was born in Moose Jaw, SK. Her family moved to Cloverdale and she completed her public schooling there. Following high school graduation Mary obtained her RN from the Royal Jubilee School of Nursing. She continued her education at UBC where she graduated with a degree in Public Health Nursing.Mary served as a public health nurse in Vancouver and in the Army reserves as a nursing sister. Her love and support was always enjoyed and shared. Post retirement she was recognised with the Order of the Anglican Diocese of NewWestminster for her caring involvement with the church.
Mary was predeased by her parents, sisters and nephews Cardy Launey (Jill) and Rob McLachlan. She is survived by cousins Dorothy Nagle, Dan McDougall (Sheila), nieces Maryanne Krestinsky (Gary), Gwen Gore (Bing), Barb Henderson, nephew Bruce McLachlan (Mary) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mary's life was filled with the wonders of family and travel. She will be missed.
