MUNDAY, Mary.
It is with much sorrow that the family announces the passing of a loving wife, dear mother and friend, Mary Munday, on July 8, 2006 at Peace Arch Hospital. Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years Chester, 1 son Michael of Berwick, Nova Scotia, 3 daughters Leslie and Deborrah in Nanaimo, and Cathy in Winnipeg. Mary is also survived by a dear niece Carol in Worsley, England. Mary is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mary arrived in Canada in Sept 1946 as a war bride with a 6 month old son. Mary was a leader in Girl Guides in many places in Canada and Germany.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of Holy Trinity, White Rock on Friday, July 28th at 2:30pm.
