MACISAAC, Maureen (nee HARE)
Jan. 22, 1935 - Jan. 31, 2013. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maureen, in White Rock, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mo will be lovingly remembered by her husband Laurie, her daughter, Sarah and her family Brandon and Ceilidh. Mo is survived by her family in England, sister Joan (Keith) and her nephew David (Janice) and niece Jane (Pim). She will be greatly missed by her forever friend, Audrey Nutter, whose shared adventures date back to the 1950's when they were both new arrivals from the UK in Toronto.
Mo was born in London and immigrated to Canada in 1956 where she married Laurie in 1965 in Toronto. Laurie's employment took the family abroad to London and later to Washington DC, where her elegance charm and grace on the social circuit became her husband's greatest asset. They retired to White Rock British Columbia in 1988.
Mo leaves behind many great friends from around the world and here at home.
A gathering to celebrate Mo and her life will take place at Hazelmere Country Club, Surrey, BC, on February 21, 2013 at Noon. We would welcome and encourage you to bring a memory!!

In lieu of flowers a donation to the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society made in Mo's name would be a great tribute.
