With his family and friends by his side Melvin K. Dick (Mel) passed on October 23. Mel will be remembered by many for his sense of humour, his larger than life presence and his ability to charm everyone he met. He was always the life of the party, the last to leave and the king of cliches (laughingly referred to as Mel-isms).
Survived by his wife Pat, son Brad (Martha), 2 grandchildren Hudson and Brooklyn and son Mike (Allyssa).
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Peace Arch Hospice, Dr. J. O'Brien and the Home Care Nurses at Fraser Health whose guidance and compassion went above and beyond.
Friends are invited to come and join the family to celebrate Mel's life on Saturday, November 3 beginning at 2:30 at 14380 Sunset Drive, White Rock.
