KILE, Merwin Arnold, "Arnie" born in Revelstoke, BC on November 20, 1914, has gone to be with our Lord on December 2, 2008. In 1942, Arnold joined the Armed Forces, training in the Communication Division at Camp Borden in Toronto. Later he worked in Regina for CKRN Radio as an electric engineer. He met and married Lorna Klassen and they moved to Vancouver in 1953. Arnie played and coached tennis at Stanley Park and Capilano Tennis Clubs. He also enjoyed skating at New Westminster Queen's Park Arena where he supplied the organ waltz music for the skaters. Arnie was a member of the security police and managed security at North Vancouver Movie Studio during the production of "Carnal Knowledge" with Candace Bergen. He then transferred to Chub Securities. Arnie's many friends gave thanks to God for the assurance that, as one who placed his trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for Eternal Life, Arn is now enjoying the presence of his Saviour. Arnie Kile will be greatly missed and remembered by his loving wife Ruth; his daughter Kandace; grandchildren Kenni, Adam, Stephanie, Paige and our adopted daughter Linda.
