July 5, 1952 - August 16, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Morag on August 16, 2020 after a year and half courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother and sister and is survived by husband Doug, son Colin, twin-sister Gena, brother Ian and sister Rhona, relatives in Canada and Scotland and the family's beloved cat Boots.
Morag was born in Forfar, Scotland and emigrated to Canada with her family in 1957. She worked at WorkSafe BC (WCB) for 30 years and 5 years at WCAT where she made many friends who she continued to keep in touch with after retirement.
We extend out heartfelt thanks to her Oncologist Dr. Kumar, the staff at the Surrey BC Cancer Agency, nursing staff at Peace Arch Hospital and staff at the Peach Arch Hospital Foundation Hospice for their kindness, caring and compassion.
Thank you to everyone who reached out to the family with kind words and support.
She will remain in our hearts forever.
