ROGERS: "Bill" Nelson William passed away on Feb. 24, 2008 one week before his 90th birthday. Born in Ottawa, March 3, 1918, Bill was a veteran of the D-Day invasion. He is predeceased by his wives Craig Ann, and Mary Rogers and will be sadly missed by his loving family: son Nelson (Bonnie), grandchildren Donna (Oscar), Deborah (fiancé Tony), Scott (Julee), Shannon and Jason, Great grandchildren Crystal, Samantha, Jessica, Nichole and Jennifer, sister Vi (George) Belford and extended family. An avid golfer, Bill retired from Air Canada and will be remembered as a true gentleman who was kind, thoughtful and well liked by all who knew or met him. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff at Evergreen Baptist Care Society and his close friends.
