Norma went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2004 at the age of 85. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Norma will be sorely missed by her devoted husband, Rev. Michael Longstaff, with whom she served as pastors wife and missionary on St. Helena Island, and in S. Africa. Norma brought joy to many through her writing of poems, children's books and plays. Norma was a wonderful mother and will be missed by her sons; Peter Kerr and wife Desiree; Ian Kerr and wife Joy; Len Kerr and wife, Ruth and by her grandchildren: Michelle and John Siebert, Steve Kerr, Brian and Rozlyn Kerr, Sharon and David Polisi, Grant and Paul Kerr, and great-grandchild, Hannah Seibert. The family wishes to thank Josie and her staff and the Findlay Pavilion in White Rock for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Baptist Chapel, 1531 Everall St., White Rock, at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004.
