GREY-NOBLE, Norman


Norm’s family moved to Canada from County Durham in England to Aneriod, Saskatchewan, in 1926. During the Second World War he was a pilot in the RCAF, stationed in Winnipeg. There he met Winnifred Side and they married in 1943. After a long and successful career in heavy construction equipment sales, Norm retired with Wynne to their home in South Surrey, B.C. in 1988.

Norm is survived by his loving wife, Winnifred, children Linda, Norman, John and Jim, their spouses Clive, Helen, Merete and Esther, and grandchildren Brie, Janna, David, Linda Jeanne, Alison and Matthew.

A celebration of Norm’s life was held on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at their home for family and friends.

Winnifred and the Family wish to thank all their friends, relatives and the palliative care staff at Fraser Health for their support and kindness.

Norman will be missed as a husband, father and friend and will be remembered for his warmth, humour and kindness.
