It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Mather Wood. Pamela passed away peacefully Friday, August 14, 2020 at St. John Hospice in Vancouver.
Pamela was born in St Albans, England to Robert and Dorothy Thornton on September 25, 1942. She was an adventurous, strong willed and generous person with a great sense of humour who loved travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
She leaves behind her son Mike and wife Monique of Nanoose Bay and son Jon and his wife Stephanie of Ottawa as well as her grandchildren Tristan and Erika. Her friends who provided so much support and encouragement held a special place in her heart.
She also leaves behind many fond memories and will always be in our thoughts.
Pamela's family would like to recognize the staff at St. John Hospice for providing so much kindness and caring.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. John Hospice in loving memory of Pamela.
