passed away peacefully after having suffered a heart attack and stroke. Pat will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Gerry (Bob), daughters, Jill, Diane (Peter), Jackie (John) grandchildren Samantha and Charlotte, nieces Susan (Tom), Terry (Peter) and their children Jennifer, Lauren and Kirby, Aunt Ruth, cousin Diane, and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Thorpe and Olive Smith.
Pat was a flight attendant in her 20s, and then a registered nurse for 30 years. She loved to travel and took many memorable trips with her family. She enjoyed shopping, decorating and painting. In later years of retirement, she had vision loss and showed us all how remarkably independent she could be. She was so happy in her lovely townhouse and was proud of her independence. Pat will always be remembered for her cheerful outlook on life and looking after others first.
In respect of Pat's wishes, a private family service will be held.
