Patricia Ruth MacNeil passed peacefully on January 26, 2018 in White Rock, BC at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her loving husband Neil, daughter Cheryl and grandson Kevin, Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children Matt (Wendy), Lynn (Mike) and Kerri (Roger) her grandchildren Stephen, Michael, Connor, Caitlin, Jaclynn, Kayla, Colin, Michelle, Brittney and Jacob and her great-grandchildren Abigail, Rhiannon, Hudson and Easton.
Mom was born in Vancouver and graduated from St Paul's as a nurse in 1951. Mom and Dad married in 1954 and raised 4 children in Vancouver. Mom loved working as an emergency nurse both at St. Paul's and St. Vincent's from where she retired in 1989.
Mom and Dad moved to White Rock where she continued her love of helping others by volunteering both at the Church and hospital. Mom's Catholic faith was deeply strong and something she quietly shared through countless acts of love and compassion with family and all those around her. We will always miss Mom's beautiful smile, her infectious laugh and her generous and giving spirit.
Prayers will be said 7 pm Thursday February 8, 2018 at Star of the Sea Church 1153 Fir Street White Rock.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on February 9, 2018 at Good Shepherd Church, 2250 150 St Surrey BC. Interment to follow at Gardens of Gethsmani 15800 32nd Ave Surrey, BC.
