Pearl Ruth May (nee Clark) McLeod

September 16, 2002

Pearl Ruth May (nee Clark) McLeod was born in Bangor, Saskatchewan on May 4, 1928 and taken far too soon from the arms of her loving family, September 16, 2002 in Peace Arch Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

She married Norman Leslie McLeod in 1948 and raised her family while he was employed with Canadian National Railway.

Retirement beckoned in 1979 and they settled in White Rock to spend time gardening and with the family they were both so devoted to.

Pearl was predeceased in June by her loving husband of 54 years. She is survived by siblings Bud Clark (Iris), Norma Nelson (Bill) and Alma Davies, all living in the B.C. Interior. The much loved mother of Donna (Neil) of White Rock, Buck (Wendy) of Ladysmith, Rod (Lois) of Surrey and son-in-law Ed Zeiler of White Rock will miss the unconditional affection, quiet humour and gentle warmth that were such a great part of her. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren, great grandchildren and many long time friends and neighbours in the White Rock area.

Service was held at Fraser Heights Funeral Chapel, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 28. Donations to the B.C.Cancer Foundation gratefully accepted.
