SMOLSKE, Peter

March 26, 1927 - November 10, 2016

We are sorry to announce the passing of Peter Smolske, who we fondly call Uncle Pete. Peter was born in Turnopol, Poland and came to Canada aboard the Aquitania Liner in 1947. He was an Ironworker by trade working up in Fort Mac. Resided as our adopted live-in uncle in the Edmonton area for most of his life, then later moved to White Rock, BC. Peter enjoyed long walks on the beach, skytraining to downtown Vancouver as his past time was people watching and enjoyed exploring the lower mainland. He was a generous man, and we have fond memories of all his escapades through the years. He was a great story teller, loved to have a meal with company and was best friend to our Father. Peter recognized he lived a full life and was grateful for that. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Crossroads Inlet Hospice where he spent his last days where he was provided with loving care. At Peter's request there will be no Memorial Service. Any donations in his memory would be appreciated by Crossroads Inlet Hospice.

We love you, we wish you Peace, Peter.
