The family of Peter Warren are saddened to announce the passing of their dearly loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather on July 31, 2020 at the age of 90.
Peter was born in England, he graduated from technical college and served an apprenticeship with De Havilland Aircraft and 3 years in the RAF as a Radar Technician. He was an avid road-racing cyclist.
In 1953 he married his love Margaret Lennox, they raised 6 children and in 1967 the family emigrated to Newmarket, Ontario. He was employed as a Tool Designer and later started his own company; York Design.
Peter and Margaret moved west in 1981 to Surrey, BC. They opened a well-respected boarding and training kennel; Camrose Kennels in Cloverdale, which they operated until 2001.They then retired to White Rock, where Peter pursued his interests in woodworking, reading, and jazz, and always welcomed visits from his growing family.
Peter was dedicated to his family and passed on a strong work ethic to his children. He built, renovated and did his own mechanics for many years.
Peter will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Margaret and their children; Catherine (Roger), Christine (David), Michael (Susan), Paul (Lynne), John (Karalee), Kevin (Michele), 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Peter died peacefully of natural causes with family by his side at "The Residence at Morgan Heights", where he had resided for the past 2 ½ years. We are thankful for the dedicated care he received while there.
Services will not be held at this time due to travel and covid19 risk restrictions. A time for the family to honour Peter will be held at a later date.
In Peter Warren's honour memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of BC.
