December 29, 2020
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Philip on December 29, 2020 age 79 at the Evergreen Baptist Campus of Care.
Survived by wife Judy, son James, daughter Kathleen (Steve), grandsons Kai and Cooper and sister Irene (Rudy).
Phil was born in 1941 in Vancouver where he grew up. He served in the Canadian Navy for three years after which he became a truck driver and finally a salesman in the welding supply industry for over forty years.
After retirement he could be seen walking the area daily and frequented local coffee shops with his buddies. He loved the outdoors, hiking, canoeing and later sailing the Gulf Islands with his family. His dreams of travelling in Europe and Britain and driving Canada coast to coast were realized in later years.
His family will be holding their memories of him close in their hearts.
No service. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
