Pigeon MULLARD

June 9, 2005

MULLARD, Pigeon Maureen passed away in White Rock on Thursday, June 9th, 2005 after a valiant 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba on July 3rd, 1944, grew up in Alberta and eventually moved to White Rock where she taught at Semiahmoo Secondary. She was a bright light to all that knew her and excelled at the ability to inspire both young and old. Pigeon strove to be the best she could be at every role in her life: wife, mother, teacher, leader, athlete, counsellor, caregiver and family member. Her greatest passion in life was dancing and we hope that she is dancing with the angels of her God. Even to the final stages of her illness, Pigeon gave flashes of her strength, courage, intelligence, hope, humor, caring and compassion to all those that surrounded her. Pigeon's brilliant smile, sparkling eyes and ability to light up any occasion will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her mother, Theresa Wingert, and is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Chuck Mullard, her father Lawrence Wingert (94), stepmother Harriet, sister Laverne Brown, sons Geret and Brett Coyne, Layne Mullard, daughter Jory Mullard, grandchildren Saidy and Karly Coyne, family members Michelle Brogan, Susan and Jamie Wade, Rob and Rosa Brown. We invite you to join us in a Celebration of Pigeon's Life on Saturday, June 18th, 2005 at Peace Portal Alliance Church (15821 - 28th Ave). In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Society would be appreciated.
