It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randolph "ELROCK" Ellis who died suddenly October 19th while in Las Vegas competing in a Tough Mudder race which is something he loved doing. Randy was 61.
Randy is survived by his wife Angie and his 6 boys, sons Travis, Connor, Aidan and step-sons Jared, Liam and Blake, his mother Judy Ellis, his siblings James (Jonathan), Bill (Rym) and Marie (Mike) and many other family members and friends. Randy was predeceased by his father Gordon Ellis.
Randy was passionate and positive about life. He gave back to the community with thousands of hours volunteer work starting in 1975 coaching pee wee football in Richmond and more recently with the White Rock South Surrey Titans Football Association and the Semiahmoo Lacrosse Association. He was a coach and a mentor. Randy always had a smile and lifted others up. He had a positive impact on many including the many coworkers and customers he met over his 30 year career in the window business. Randy's final chance to give back was through organ donation. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, November 12th from 2-5 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Randy loved sports. If you want, please feel free to wear your favourite sports teams jersey to the celebration. In lieu of flowers please consider becoming an organ donor.
