March 11, 1954 – April 29, 2021
Rhonda was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The family moved to BC in 1960 and ran a farm on 184 Street. Rhonda attended local schools including Kensington Prairie and Lord Tweedsmuir. After high school graduation she worked for BC Forestry in silviculture for over 30 years.
Her volunteer work included tutoring adults in literacy, gardening at Camp Alexandra, seed collecting at UBC Botanical Gardens, and recycling at her condominium. She took an active interest in policies and politics concerning the environment and human rights. She was a keen amateur photographer.
Rhonda was a resident in White Rock for 40 years. She leaves behind friend Louise, sister Kathie, brother-in-law Neville, and brother Randy.
Rhonda will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, and generosity.
