In loving memory ~

It is with sadness and much love we mourn the passing of Robert (Bob) Wyborn of White Rock, British Columbia on Friday, June 2nd, at the age of 92. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tom (Natasia) and Diane, grandchildren: Jason, Bob, Sarah and James, his great grandchildren, Kayden, Elijah, Alexander, Kayd, Nevaeh, and Ember Mae. He is survived by his sister/best friend in life, Marge Oswald, his brother Ralph Wyborn and many other family members. He is also survived by his longtime dear friend and companion, Joan Friar, and her family.

Born in New Westminster, Bob spent his life living and working in White Rock South Surrey. He ran his own construction business for many, many years doing renovations, residential and commercial work all around the area.

Bob was also a very active member in the former White Rock United Church and devoted many hours in service to the church both as a Sunday School teacher and as part of the Steward Committee. He subsequently became involved with the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society and happily spent over 20 years and endless hours making the wooden doves that adorned their Memorial Tree over the holiday season.

Dad loved spending his summers at his cottage at Deka Lake, always puttering about and finding things to build, fix, renovate, all the things that made him the happiest.

Many thanks to Dr. John O'Brien, Dr. Fiona O'Brien and all of the care team and support staff at Suncrest Retirement Center. Your kindness, support and care for Dad was so very much appreciated.

There will be no service. An interment will be held at Valleyview Cemetery at a later date. If you wish, donations can be made in Bob's name to the White Rock Hospice Society.
