Doug McGregor, age 75, of White Rock, BC and Central Butte, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at White Rock Peace Arch Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2005 due to complications related to rheumatoid arthritis.

Many many thanks to the staff of 4th floor ICU for your caring and understanding ways. You became a very important part of our family during this difficult time. Doug's family physician D. Lowe and the 'girls' at the clinic are to be thanked for their concern and support in helping Doug througout the past years.

Doug is survived by Nell, his loving wife of 50 years. Doug will always be loved by his two children Ann and her husband Greg Brierley, and Rob and his wife Karen. The grandchildren, Kyle and Alison Brierly, and Gavin, Carley and Taylor McGregor will forever miss thier beloved "Adiose". Sister Dorothy and brother Don of White Rock, and numerous relatives and close long-time friends from Centreal Butte, SK., to Vancouver Island, BC will fondly remember him.

Doug was born raised and lived for 65 years in the community of Central Butte, Saskatchewan where as a Lab/X-ray Tech he began a long and rewarding career in the health-care field. After three decades as Administrator of the hospital, Doug retired. Through McGregor's Insurance and Tavel Agency, Doug and Nell were given the opportunity to travel and enjoy life to the fullest.

Upon moving to White Rock in 1995, Doug, Nell and Beth (Nell's mother), kept their doors open for all to visit. Relatives, friends, and neighbors were a most important part of Doug's life.

He will always be remembered for his caring concern of others who he always put before himself.

Doug's straightforwardness, sense of humour, and constant support shows the true character of this loving man.
