It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Edwin Hunter, born January 5, 1947, announce his peaceful passing at home on March 2, 2021.
Bob is survived by his daughters Angela (Dustin) and Marie (Klaus) and grandchildren Keegan, Brooklyn, Jayden and Kyle, as well as numerous adored nieces and nephews and their children.
Bob retired after 35 years of service for NAV Canada at Vancouver International Airport. He also owned White Rock Vacuum for over 30 years. Upon his well-deserved retirement, Bob continued to help others with repairs to their appliances and homes right until the day he passed.
We will miss his sense of humour, kindness, compassion and generosity. He was one of a kind. A celebration of his life will be held in the fall when restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, kindly think of Bob as you help a neighbour, friend, or senior with something they need, or donate to Bob's preferred charity - the BC Cancer Foundation.
