It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Beloved Husband, Father/Dad, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Friend, Neighbour, and a most caring and helpful person, in his 77th year of youthful age.
Bob was born in Sidney, British Columbia, to a large family of ten. He grew up in Victoria and then Kamloops, BC where he met his best friend and wife of 54 years, Irene.
Bob earned his CA degree in Edmonton and practiced in Kamloops and Vancouver. Bob will be remembered for his calm gentle support, generous welcoming nature, being so very proud of his family, his family dinner gatherings, his respect for all, his ability to make people laugh with so many moments of joy, and many wonderful memories, by his; wife, Irene, daughters; Nicole Simons (Len), Tanis Hill (Adam), Allison Giuliani (Matt), and 7 grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Ashton, Ty, Andy, Gia, and Adelaide.
He is also remembered by his brother-in-law Ed Kowalski, his 7 siblings, 21 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and so many more cousins and friends.
Bob was a true gentleman who loved his family and was born to be the father of the daughters never missing a chance to tell them he loved them. He will always be with us in our hearts. Bob's Family wishes to sincerely thank all the emergency services personnel who helped Bob and all the friends and neighbours who have extended their support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
