MacKellar, W. Robert
Born July 4th, 1927 in Cupid, NB. Died June 24th in Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Don. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Doris (Taylor), two children, daughter, Roberta (Harold), Gary (Ingrid), grandchildren, Evan, Sydney, Carolyne, Christina, great grandaughter Molly and one brother Ken in NB. as well as many nieces and nephews. "Bob" as he was known to family and friends was a professional forester who came to Alberta in 1956 to pioneer the ground work for the pulp mill being built there. He finished his 32 year career as Production Manager of the Woods Division. After retirement he and Doris moved to White Rock area where he enjoyed many years as a member of Kiwanis and the fellowship of friends he met there. He was a beloved husband and father, grandfather and friend. Service will be held Saturday, July 16th at 1:00 PM. St Mark's Anglican Church in Ocean Park, South Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wildlife Foundation.
