PYKE, Robert Arthur. Robert passed on October 24, 2012 at St. Paul's Hospital. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Vera. He is mourned by daughters, Denise and Kathryn (Mark); grandchildren, Kyle, Marci, and Mikayla; and his special friend, Katherina. He is also remembered by his brother, Gordon (Barbara). Robert was born on June 19, 1928 in Prince Albert & was raised in Victoria, BC. He was a teacher of mathematics & a long time secondary school administrator with the Vancouver School Board. He was a past president of the Vancouver Secondary Teachers Association. A private family gathering will take place with internment in Ocean View Cemetery.
