Passed away on November 3, 2021 at the age of 85. Bob is survived by his wife Eileen (Findlay), children Kathie (Paul) Kealy, Barbara (Mel) Buckland, Jim (Marcy) Buckland, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Bob graduated from BCIT Magna Cum Laude in 1969 with a diploma in Building Engineering. He was a proud member of The Building Officials Association of BC as well as the Society of Engineering Technologists. He worked for the City of New Westminster in the engineering department for many years, and after retirement as a consultant. Bob enjoyed spending his free time at Hawkins Lake with his family and dogs, and volunteering with the Surrey Amateur Radio Club.
At Bob's request there will be no service.
Flowers are gratefully declined, but if desired donations can be made to the Senior Animals In Need Today Society at 33860 Dlugosh Avenue, Mission, BC V2V 6B2.
As an end to this sad announcement Bob's family wish to quote one of his favourite sayings: "Let's get along now.We're shorthanded."
