Bernatzki, Roger Alex, born April 12, 1947, passed away from complications due to a hard fought battle with cancer on June 16, 2015. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Olga, his daughter, Nicole (James) and his son, Ryan; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Skylar and Bryn; and loved ones, relatives, friends and colleagues from around the world. Roger was an incredible man with a large heart, a caring and generous nature, and a love for life. He had an impressive record as a senior health care executive where he gained a reputation as a progressive and visionary leader. He was creative, innovative, and was artful at bringing people together. Roger's talent was in anticipating emerging trends and developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues that he called friends. His sense of humour, infectious laugh, and warm smile will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Roger's Life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey BC. In lieu of flowers, Roger would hope that you would do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness in his name or a donation to a charity of your choice.
