Roger passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of Peace Arch Hospital on August 5, 2003, after a brief but intense battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving daughter Kari, her husband Rick and their two daughters Terelyn and Jane, his mother Eva Jones, his brother Forbes Hartfiel, sisters Janice Ewing, Irene Oldham, Lee-Ann Horbachewski, and Julie Jones.
Roger will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him. He will remain in our hearts - always.
A memorial service will be held on August 16, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Observatory Room at the Vista Royale Apartment Building, 15280 North Bluff Rd., White Rock, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, c/o 15521 Russell Avenue, White Rock, B.C. V4B 2R4 in memory of Roger would be greatly appreciated.
