Ronald Bessette Curby went to meet his Lord Jesus on March 18, 2017. He was born in Calgary Oct. 22 1928, and moved to BC as a young child. Ron was an outstanding athlete at John Oliver High School in Vancouver, later going on to play professional baseball, and then a long plumbing career.
Ron was a lover of God and people, and he will be dearly missed by his wife Barb of 57 years, three children (Mitch, Jennifer and Jane), 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and countless friends. A Memorial Service will be held on April 1, 2pm at Peace Portal Alliance Church - 15128 27B Ave., Surrey.
