VINCENT, Ronald

October 4, 1920-February 28, 2011

Ron passed away at 90 years of age. Left to honour his memory is his wife Edna and his many friends.

Ron was born in Liverpool England and later in life enlisted in the Grenadier Guards. He was evacuated from the beaches at Dunkirk in 1939 and then posted to Palestine to serve with the Palestine Police Force until the end of the war. After the war he immigrated to Canada, moved to the U.S.A. then carried on to New Zealand, where he opened Hair dressing Salons. While there he met and married Edna, also from Liverpool though they had never met before that time.

Ron and Edna immigrated to B.C. Canada where they opened a card and gift shop in Vancouver. They later moved to White Rock and opened a Deli & flower shop. Ron retired remaining in The White Rock/Surrey area having made many friends in the area.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flower donations to the heart fund or to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
