December 29, 1928 - October 23, 2018
It is with great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Ross Hale Daniel at Peace Arch Hospital Hospice, White Rock, BC at the age of 89. Ross will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Josie, his daughter Diane (Greg) and grandson Jared. Ross also leaves behind a sister and two brothers as well as many relatives and friends.
Ross was born in Czar Alberta and moved to Edmonton in his early twenties. For 34 years he was a dedicated bus driver for the City of Edmonton Transit System. Ross enjoyed his job very much and became well-known to many regular passengers on his routes. Ross and Josie moved from Edmonton to South Surrey in 2015 to be closer to their daughter and her family.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Peace Arch Hospital and for the loving care they provided Ross during his time there. A private funeral service will be held at Victory Memorial Park, South Surrey. Interment will be held at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park, Alberta at a later date.
