Born May 10th, 1927 passed away peacefully at home on October 15th, 2005.
Predeceased by his brother Mel (Diane) and sister Christine.
Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Theresa; daughters Carol, Karren (Denis); sons Russ (Lisa), Rod (Karen).
He adored his grandchildren; Drew, Tamara, Levi and Sierra, his sisters are Gertie (Charlie) and Patricia.
Russell moved his family to White Rock after serving a number of years in the Department of Fisheries where he was a sea captain.
In 1965 he owned and operated a family run grocery store, Terry's Market on 152nd
Russell will be remembered for his gentleness, his compassion and his love for his family.
He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.
He had a passion for hockey and animals, especially his dogs.
He could be found tinkering in his workshop.
A celebration of his life was held at 2:00 p.m., on November 27th at Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club, 3500 Morgan Creek Way (Off 32nd) South Surrey.
