MEADOWS, Ruth "Joan" September 22, 1928 - December 15, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Meadows, 86, of South Surrey, BC. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Joan passed peacefully with family by her side at Morgan Place in South Surrey, BC. Joan is survived by her daughters Carolyn Elkington and Marilyn Meadows and her two sons Lance & Brent Meadows. Joan is also survived by her grandchildren, Jasmine, Paige, Jodi, Brock, Blake and Todd, and great grandson Liam. Joan was predeceased by her husband Walter Meadows and Gord Banton. A huge thank you to the staff at Morgan Place whose humanity and kindness knew no bounds. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of BC would be greatly appreciated. There will be a service and a celebration of Joan's life held at the Crescent United Church, South Surrey, BC on Sunday December 28th at 2 pm. Joan's laugh, lovely smile and gentle soul will be missed by all who ever met her.
