Ruth Joy Kile

January 12, 1927 - October 10, 2019
Ruth, who was born in Vancouver, B.C. on January 12th, 1927, has gone to be with our Lord on October 10, 2019. At only 6 months of age, the family moved to Kelowna, where Ruth spent her youth. She only finished grade 7 but still managed to get into Business College. At the age of 21 she moved to Vancouver. In 1949 she got a job at Workman's Compensation Board, she started as a clerk and retired as the supervisor of Medical Aid Department, she was also very involved with her church, especially early on with the Christian Youth Group at Vancouver Free Methodist Church. Ruth's many friends give thanks to God for the assurance that, as one who places her trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ, for eternal life, Ruth is now enjoying the presence of her Saviour. Ruth Kile will be greatly missed and remembered by her close family, Linda, Debbie, Jim, all her nieces and nephews and of course all her friends. A special thanks to her care givers at Whitecliff Retirement Facility.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 9, 2019 at 11 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 287 Ave, Surrey BC.
