June 30, 1942 - June 11, 2021
Our beloved Sandra Mae Powell, age 78, passed away June 11th in White Rock, BC. She was born June 30th, 1942 in North Vancouver, BC to Bryce and Edna Cozens. Sandy's kind, gentle spirit invited enduring relationships; her family, her friends and her neighbours found her to be a safe, comfortable place to abide. And, delightfully, her quiet demeanour was sprinkled with a feisty spirit and cheeky sense of humour that kept us on our toes.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Ron Powell, and her three sons and their wives Cary and Natalia, Glen and Susan, and Cliff and Linsay; grandchildren Christina, Adam, Oyla, Regina,
Sara, Erin, Duncan, and Colin. Also survived by her brother and wife, Bill and Margy Cozens and her sister Ruth Whitten. And her sister-inlaw Gail Patterson. Sandy was predeceased by
her sister Vera.
Our Creator God who knows Sandy intimately and loves her deeply, now holds her securely in his arms.
