SETTLE, 'Sid' Sarah (nee Klassen).
March 10, 1931 - May 27, 2005.
Predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Anna, 2 brothers Neil and George. Survived by her sons Colin Shaeffer and Craig Settle. Colin & Jolean's children and his step-children and step-grandchildren in California and Hawaii; 2 sisters Anne (Harry) Horsnell of Port Elgin ON, Mary Caron of White Rock BC and Jerry Hobbs (her chauffer); 10 brothers Isaac (Dorthey) of Calgary, Deitrich (Shirley) of Candle Lake SASK, Lester (Carole) of Saskatoon, Willie of White Rock, Lyle (Emy) of Kelowna, Elmer (Cheryl), Garry (Lorraine), Wayne, Leonard (Lynn), Richard (Linda) all of Saskatoon; sister-in-law Jean of Calgary; her aunt Katherine McLean of Kelowna. Sid had 36 nieces and nephews, 146 first cousins, numerous grandnieces & nephews and a vast number of friends from Ontario to Vancouver Island. Thanks to all her friends and relatives who have prayed for Sid for the last 15 years of her Breast Cancer fight. Especially the last six years as a test patient of various chemo treatments, which are now helping other Cancer Patients. Thank you Dr. W. Paton, Dr Sawnhey and all medical staff at both Peace Arch Hosp and Fraser Valley Cancer Centre helping to keep Sid with us for the last 4 years. Special thanks to Laura Greenlees for her constancy and dedication to her Auntie Sid. A Memorial Tea will be held at Peace Arch Manor, 15468 Roper Ave, White Rock on Saturday, June 4th, 2005 from 1pm to 3pm. No Flowers. Donations to P.A.H. Palliative Care Ward or F.V.C.C. research.
