1950-2022 ~ Shari grew up in Port Coquitlam and White Rock. After graduating from Semiahmoo Sec., St. Paul's School of Nursing (RN) and UBC's Nurse Practitioner Program (BSN) she became a head nurse at the newly opened UBC Extended Care Hospital.
She finished her career as a clinical geriatric specialist and nurse educator at Peace Arch Hospital. For Shari, it was never just a job. It was a way of living.
Just as her spirit had been influenced by those who had known and loved her; so too, her spirit of kindness and caring, love and generosity, humour and laughter, honouring ideals with consistency and passion will influence those who she knew and loved.
Her spirit is now woven into the fabric of our community making it a better place for all.
