Sharon Jane Dudar

April 24, 2006

Age 62, died April 24, 2006 in White Rock after living gracefully with cancer for over 10 years.

Sharon was the daughter of Dalziel and Jean McCloy and was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on February 8, 1944. She grew up in Calgary and Winnipeg along with her younger brother & sister, Dal and Marr.

She graduated from the Manitoba Teachers' College in 1964.

She married James Dudar in Winnipeg in 1965, and had three sons Jason, Trevor, & Glenn.

Her family moved on to Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, and then settled in BC in 1987.

Sharon was involved with church activities and volunteer work in all the communities she lived in.

In Alberta, volunteering with Birthright, she helped unwed mothers and established an education program in Catholic and Public schools to emphasize the value of human life at all stages.

Sharon valued and shared her Christian faith.

She was a source of love and encouragement to all those who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her husband James, her son and his wife, Jason and Shonna, her son and his wife, Trevor and Theresa, her son and his wife, Glenn and Alana; eight grandchildren, Megan, Bethany, Paige, Russell, Lauren, Hayden, Jacob, and Joshua all living in the Vancouver area; her mother, Jean McCloy, her brother, Dal and her sister, Marr.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, April 28 at Good Shepherd Church, 2250 - 150th Street, Surrey, BC.

Father Stanley Galvon will conduct the mass.
