RAY: Shirley June, July 6, 1935 - June 4, 2007 died at her home in White Rock after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Chilliwack, B.C. she moved with parents Grace and Harry Preston to Kamloops, B.C. A career with B.C. Telephone Company took her to Vancouver, retiring after 30 years with the company. Survived by her husband Jim; sister Doris (Harvey) Ackerman, Lila (Wilfred) McDonald, 1 niece and 3 nephews. We will all miss her great sense of humour. Many, many thanks for the help and support from the South Fraser Support Nurses. No service by request. In lieu of flowers a donation to the B.C. Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
