Sidney Dreyer

Sidney was born in 1921 and passed away July 26, 2002 at 10 p.m. after a long and debilitating illness, bravely fought.

He is survived by his wife Maureen of 54 years. Four sons David, Colin, Michael, Derrick and their wives. Thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Sid was born in London, England. He served 6 1/2 years in WW II serving his country in Italy and Egypt. He was a police constable for 10 years before immigrating to Canada in 1956. He served in the R.C.A.F. for 10 years, posted to Ontario, France and Whitehorse Y.T. After service life, he was a private investigator.

Sid was a man highly motivated by his work.

He will always be remembered by a song that Derrick recorded for him "My Way" His wife and sons will always think of him when they hear that song.

"Rest in Peace Sid. You will be missed."

Private cremation. No service - Sid's request.
