Silvano was born in Valdagno, Vicenza Italy, passing away in Surrey British Columbia on April 6th, 2021.
Immigrating to Canada in 1956, he was later joined by his wife and daughters in 1957. Silvano is predeceased by his wife Anna Maria Urbani (nee: Pretto), after 52 years of marriage, in 2002.
He leaves behind to mourn, daughters Doriana Barros (Kevin Blake) and Marilena "Marilyn" Young (Ron); grandchildren Rodney McCann, Jennifer Young, Stephanie Jackson, Lia Barros; and his great and great-great-grandchildren.
Silvano also leaves behind his relatives in Valdagno who he enjoyed visiting many times over the years.
He spent his later years in life enjoying lawn bowling at Mann Park in White Rock. He was a happy man who liked a glass of wine, a good Italian meal and watching sports, especially soccer. He will be forever missed.
